SUB:   INVITATION FOR SEMINAR ON “THE SINDH ARMS ACT 2013, VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ROLE OF JUDICIARY AND ROLE OF BAR ASSOCIATION”

Dear Sir/Madam,

I on behalf of The Law Society and partner organizations, we would like to request you to join us in Seminar on “THE SINDH ARMS ACT 2013, VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ROLE OF JUDICIARY AND ROLE OF BAR ASSOCIATION” on February 04, 2014 at Karachi Bar Association Shuhda-e-Panjab Hall from 1:30:pm to 5:00 pm.
After a long analysis and observing the need to provide moral and financial support to Women advocates, to enhance their role in society and to provide them a platform to experience their skills, and realizing the need of creating networks of women lawyers, The Law Society Pakistan (TLSP) is taking a new initiative by establishing “Women Protection Network (WPN)” which consists 10 Lawyers Organizations and 100 women advocates from all over Sindh.
The Law Society Pakistan is a not-for-profit and non-governmental organization working for capacity building of fresh law graduate. It consists of a pool of pro bono lawyers who extend pro bono services to deserving litigants for promoting rule of law, human rights, good governance, and democracy in Pakistan. TLSP provide pro bono legal services to the deserving and needy victims. TLSP has been hosting seminars, workshops, focus group discussions and exposure visits on the afore-mentioned subjects in which eminent lawyers, jurists, government ministers, government functionaries and honorable judges of the superior courts spoke about ways and means to eradicate abusive practices from the society.

Your presence at this seminar would be a source of honor and pride for the legal community especially those members who are struggling for judicial reforms and protection of citizen rights in our society.
